Want to book a Basic Ceremony?

Why choose us?

Weddings on a Whim has been offering heartwarming ceremonies for 22 years. We are experienced, professional officiants who conduct religious or non-religious ceremonies, based on your preferences. We have extensive knowledge and have connections to locations & other wedding related services.

Where we are?

We are located in West Central Florida’s Pinellas County, Florida for 22+ years. There are many beach and other locations.  Finding the perfect beach location for your ceremony within our 24 miles is easy. Our Beach wedding locations include Clearwater Beach’s Sand Key Beach Park, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores Beach, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island Beach and St Pete Beach. We also preform ceremonies at alternative locations, such as  Condos, Resorts, Chapels, Banquet Halls & Parks.

What is a Wedding Officiant?

A Wedding Officiant is someone who conducts wedding ceremonies.  Prior to the ceremony, your Wedding Officiant will send ceremony choices, readings and a Wedding Day Checklist (in order for your to share your choices).  Your assigned Officiant will be available to go over your ceremony details with you over the phone.  He or she will legalize the license (that you are applied for and bring to the ceremony).  You will be given the choice of returning to the Courthouse – in order to obtain a “legalized copy” of your license; or you may request that your Officiant return the license by mail for you.

Are there Guest Count Restrictions?

Whether it’s just the 2 of you or a large gathering, we offer ceremonies for any size group. When you use our services, there are no guest count restrictions.  There isn’t a restriction for the size of your wedding party either. Therefore you’re welcome to bring as many friends and relatives as you like to help celebrate your special day! (The people who are in the wedding are called the “wedding party”).

Why a Wedding On a Whim?

When we discovered how quick & easy it is to get married in the great state of Florida, we named our service Weddings On a Whim.  Couples can arrange a hassle free or last minute wedding because no witnesses or blood tests are required.  If they are from outside the state of Florida, a couple may apply for a marriage license without a wait period.  Floridians have to wait 3 days to get married after they have applied for their license.  This makes the entire process simple, quick and easy.

Are you planning to elope in Florida? If so, our affordable Wedding Officiant Service is perfect for you. Out-of-state destination wedding couples, who travel to our area, may obtain a license and get married all in the same day! However, Florida residents are required to wait 3 days after receiving their license before they may get hitched. Anyone can take advantage of our free Wedding Concierge Service.  By the way, we don’t charge for questions!

Who are Our Wedding Officiants?

Our incurably romantic Wedding Officiants have conducted thousands of weddings at beaches, parks, chapels, hotels, banquet halls, restaurants and homes over the past 22+ years. We are licensed Notary Publics for the State of Florida, and ordained by the Universal Life Church. Each of our kind and uplifting team brings their own unique style and personality to your wedding day.
