The bride (Rose) called me last Tuesday, asking to get married the next day. We discussed her Wedding On a Whim & agreed to meet late morning at Indian Rocks.Once the plans were in place, Rose told Tony, ordered the flowers & went to the store to buy a selfie stick. When we took this photo, we weren’t sure if the remote was working.
Rose & Tony have been together for 9 years. After introducing ourselves (the only people in the parking lot), I learned one of their hobbies is going to local fairs – to sell the hats Rose embellishes. The few people that were on the beach stopped to watch from afar, applauded when the two kissed, then came up to congratulate them. The newlyweds brought glasses & wine. After their toast & hugs, they departed to celebrate more at the Columbia Restaurant in Clearwater. The couple plans a rewedding, larger affair for family & friends to attend next year. They were a joy to meet & to witness how well they flow together.
