From Dinner Cruises to picnic shelters, our area offers an affordable variety of wedding reception venues.  Hotels offer banquet halls and beachside decks.  They include brunches, lunches, buffets and plated dinners served by their staff.  Parks have shelters you can rent and bring your own food.  Yacht and Party boat dinner cruises can be chartered or you couples receive a group discount. Banquet Halls, such as the Verizon Event Center or the Magic Ballroom in Largo offer great prices, where you may work with a caterer or bring your own meal. Churches and municipalities offer banquet space that couples can rent for a steal.

Some restaurants are wedding reception venues too. To save money, small groups may reserve a brunch reception at a restaurant called Watercolour Grillhouse inside The Marriott, Clearwater.  If you are seeking separate space for a small group:  Rusty’s Bistro inside the Sheraton Sand Key is a terrific option.  Larger groups may work with the catering sales manager at a restaurant, hotel or banquet hall to arrange an affordable brunch reception for their group. Restaurant receptions are also popular wedding reception venues for small groups.

Treasure Island favorites include The Sunset Café, Middle Grounds and The Pearl.  Two favorites in Clearwater are The Marina Cantina & The Island Way Grill. Restaurants where exclusive seating & private dining rooms are offered for small groups include:  Crabby’s on the Pass, Treasure Island & Crabby Bill’s, St Pete Beach; along with Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Madeira Beach.  When is the best time to call a restaurant and reach a manager?  After the lunch rush, between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m.
